Ouachita National Forest

Some of the best ATV and UTV trails in Arkansas can be found in the Ouachita National Forest, which covers 1.8 million acres in central Arkansas and southeastern Oklahoma.

A few of the more noteworthy trails favored by local 4-wheeler riders include the Fouche Mountain Trail, which offers 26 miles of ATV and UTV riding along and over beautiful streams and some rocky sections, with breathtaking views of the Ouachita Mountains. Wolf Pen Gap Trail features 42 miles of loop trails and three trailheads over rocks and trees, a forest of large pines and hardwoods, and crossing scenic Gap Creek and Board Camp Creeks. Sugar Creek Trail offers a network of looping ATV riding trails that weave over and through various terrain types and tree types, offering spectacular views.
