Black Swamp OHV and Area
In the Croatan National Forest, with its mixed pine and scrub oak trees, Black Swamp ATV trails twist and turn through 8 miles of swampy, muddy terrain.
And the trails, though mostly flat, are indeed swampy. Be prepared to get dirty because the area is prone to deep mud bogs even when the weather is dry. These 4-wheeler trails are open to machines that are 50 inches or less.
