Popular with ATV riders, Big Scrub Campground is located in the Ocala National Forest (see below) offering riders campsite-to-trail access with a trailhead right in the facility. It also provides direct access to the Ocala Adventure Trail, also known as the Centennial Trail, a slow-speed 47-mile loop trail that navigates one of the largest contiguous sand pine scrub habitats in the world. The mostly smooth and sandy trails weave through forested areas, with plenty of berms and shade trees.
