Ocala National Forest

One of the top destinations for off-roading in Florida, Ocala covers 189 miles of trails weaving through its 387,000 acres of sand pine scrub forest.

It offers 3 separate riding areas (Ocala Centennial OHV Trail- see above, Ocala North OHV Trails and Wandering Wiregrass Trail) and 8 different ATV trails. The
primarily sandy and flat terrain also provides ATV riders many trees, berms, and some small jumps, along with mud and marsh adventures. The chances for encountering some local wildlife are good and the scenic beauty is often astonishing year-round.
