Myles Standish State Forest

With over 12,400 acres laced with dirt roads open to snowmobiling, this is the largest public recreation area in southeastern MA.

The space offers significant views you’ll love, and rare formations including Pine Barrens, large areas of tall Pitch Pines growing on sandy, infertile soil, and 58 kettle ponds, created by holes left from glaciers with no inlet or outlet and varying water levels.
